  • Background Recording in Section Mode

    When recording a section, you can now play back existing recordings in the background (with volume control) to help you nail your takes. Same feature that was already available in full-run recording mode.

  • Pro Audio Effects

    New effects panel with reverb, compression, 5-band EQ, and saturation. Choose from master presets (Natural, Polished, Warm, Lo-Fi, Radio) or customize each effect individually. Effects apply in real-time and are included in MP3 exports.

  • Section Quick Select

    Tap the drag handle on any section to select it as the playback start point. The selected section highlights in orange, and pressing play will start from there.

  • Local-first sync with offline support

    The app is now local-first, it works offline. Sync to the cloud is still available: Free tier users: 2 manual syncs (refill every 10min, use them strategically); Pro tier users (I don't even have such complex thing setup yet): unlimited instant sync. This will help keep this app free and functional for longer, it will now allow 100x the amount of users for the same cost. And the drawback is negligible.

  • Faster & Lighter

    Reduced background server requests by up to 80%. Audio recordings now load instantly after the first play. The app uses less battery and data.
