Open the melody editor from a section and all your melody layers load as tabs. Switch between them, hear background layers while you edit, and everything saves automatically. Each tab gets its own instrument and volume. Adjust the mix in the volume panel. Free accounts can now stack 2 layers, Pro gets 5.
The melodies panel and the "add melody" picker in sections now have a search bar and instrument filter chips. Find the right melody faster, especially as your library grows.
Microphone setup moved out of the onboarding flow. The browser asks for permission when you actually need it: recording in a song, the melody editor, or the scratchpad. One less step before you start making music.
