  • Melodoodle now speaks five languages

The app and the website are now in Português (Brasil), Français and Deutsch, along with English and Español. Melodoodle uses the language of your device. To change it, open Settings and pick one under Language. Pick Auto to follow your device again.

  • Rhymes in all five languages

Rhyme suggestions now work in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. Portuguese, French and German rhymes come from Wiktionary, and the language list shows which service answers for each one. Words typed without accents still find their rhymes, so coracao finds coração.

  • Fxm and Cxm play the right chord

In C#, D#, G# and A# major, and in A# minor, the key suggestions added chords like Fxm and Cxm. They played as F and C major, which is the wrong chord. Now they play, transpose and export as the chord you picked, and show a plain name (Fxm shows as Gm). Songs you already made are fixed too.

  • Fixes for phones, basses and guests

A few fixes. On phones, the accent and role options for each step of a rhythm pattern now apply when you tap them. The bass picker no longer labels the recorded basses as synth. Guests who tap Create Song in the melody editor now go to sign in, instead of a song limit screen they never hit. The recording indicator reads REC, and section tabs fit on small screens.

  • Cleaner Spanish, and Do Re Mi everywhere

Lots of Spanish text got fixed: missing accents and capital letters in the middle of sentences. If you use Do Re Mi note names, the key picker, the transpose screen and exported chord sheets now use them too, instead of switching back to C D E.
