  • 10 New Strum Patterns

Added Reggaeton, Salsa Montuno, Bossa Nova, Flamenco Rasgueo, Cumbia, Funk Chuck, Country Boom-Chuck, Driving Rock, Punk Chug, and Slow Ballad. Each one is built around the actual rhythm of its genre, with bass and chord plucked separately where it matters. Open the Rhythm tab on any section, browse by feel (Driving, Mellow, Choppy, Groovy), and pick what fits.

  • Accent and Role Per Step

Long-press any step in the pattern editor to set its accent (ghost, normal, strong) or role (bass, chord, full). Strong accents play tighter and louder for a punchier hit. Bass plays just the root, chord skips the root, full plays everything. On mobile the controls open in a bottom sheet for easier touch. Badges on each step show what is set.

  • Templates Pick the Right Strum

When you create a new song with auto-assign on, sections now get genre-appropriate strums automatically. Pop chorus gets Driving Rock, Latin chorus gets Salsa Montuno, Reggaeton uses dembow throughout. Added a new Country template too.

  • Strums Sound More Natural

When a strum is followed by a mute, the chord fades naturally instead of ringing flat then getting cut off. Mutes sit quieter in the mix so they are percussive flavor instead of punching through every beat. Strong accents on guitars land as tight unified hits instead of slow sweeps.

  • Rhythm Tab Comes First

Within each section, the Rhythm tab now sits before the Melody tab so you reach for strum patterns before melodies. Order matters when you are shaping a section, and rhythm usually wants attention first.

  • Songs Play Through to the End

Songs with multiple sections sometimes cut out mid-playback after a section change. The recording preview module was sharing the global audio engine and accidentally stopping it during normal playback. Fixed.
